Martin Avery, B.A., B.Ed., M.F.A. in Writing, A.Q. Drama, also has a Diploma In Spiritual Healing, is a Reikimaster, a qigong instructor, and a Zen meditation teacher. He is the author of around a hundred books and half of them are on Amazon.com. He is a Senior Writer and Syndicated Columnist with Bleacher Report and was the Writer in Residence at the Pickering Public Library, the Bracebridge Public Library, and the Zen Forest. He taught high school for 25 years and was the Arts Department Head at a small school in Muskoka. Other interests include kayaking, hiking, and photography.
